Postcards from Lino-cuts  We covet our Rachael Romero biographical celebrity prints from lino-cuts.  Ms Romero made these dramatic portraits of historical personalities available in the early 1980s, when she offered them in postcard format, offset printed in San Francisco from her lino-cuts, whose stark drama resembles woodcuts.  Writers, world artists and entertainment personalities: classical, popular and  jazz women and men, comprise a pantheon of renowned figures, who were cutting edge exponents of their fields.  The edginess of her linoleum cuts often belies a depth of character or vulnerability in her subjects. 

Our cards are uncirculated 1980s postcards in mint condition.
